Mrs. Poquette 8th Grade Science: My name is Mrs. Poquette and this year you will explore the fascinating world of Integrated Science. The curriculum is founded on the expectation that much of the most important science of the future, though based on the classical disciplines, will lie in areas that span two or more of them. In Chemistry you will study the properties, composition, structure, and interactions of matter. In Biology, you will study living matter in all it’s forms and get an understanding of your relationship to the environment. In Physics you will study the relationship between matter and energy. Doing well in this course will prepare you for more advanced science studies.
